ELGi North America to Distribute Rotair Portable Air Compressors
Powered by diesel and air moto air pump gasoline engines, Rotair’s range of portable air compressors are designed to be durable, fuel-efficient, quiet and reliable. ELGi North America, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Ltd., and global supplier of compressed air solutions, will, as part of its continued expansion in the compressed air industry, distribute the Rotair range of portable air compressors throughout North America. ELGi acquired the Rotair brand of portable air compressors in 2012. Based in Caraglio, Italy, since 1946, Rotair SPA manufactures portable air compressors from 75 CFM through 900 CFM. Powered by diesel and gasoline engines, Rotair’s range of portable air compressors are designed to be durable, fuel-efficient, quiet, and reliable. For convenience and mobility, units are available in trailer- or skid-mount versions. "Since 2012, ELGi North America has established reliable distribution and brand recognition with its industrial range of air compressors and accessories. The entry into the portable compressor market space will strengthen our presence in the compressed air industry," said David Puck, president, ELGi North America.
As soon as you clip to new valve stem starts up. ARB offers a chuck with a built in gage I might consider. The only ""ding"" is the ARB air chuck sticks straight out (it's only about 2"" long) so makes the Air Moto Air Pump hose end kinda long so even with the valve stem lock I found that I needed to hold it. When valve stem happened to be near the 12 o'clock position I could let it hang there. Arizona (Kaibab National Forest) and Utah (Sand Hollow State Park and Moab) or Air Moto Air Pump at altitude after Black Bear and Ophir Passes. Currently running 33s KO2s on my 2020 Rubicon. Took maybe 1.5 minutes to air up each tire from 15psi to 36 psi per tire. I was impressed that in hot temps it didn't over heat. As expected the compressor did get very hot after use, so I always waited to put hose back in the case.
